Suprising Effects Of Yoga


Yoga is so much more than some physical shapes you do on a mat.

I often say this to my students.

I started yoga when I was living and working in Hong Kong.

A corporate position in marketing.
A good salary.
A beautiful apartment on the 42nd floor of a fancy building.
Cool vacation in Bali or Boracay twice a year.

But inside... I was feeling empty.

Every day for two years, I was waking up with a knot in my stomach.

This feeling of helplessness and frustration.

The feeling I was missing out on life...

I was observing the people around me and none of them seemed to be happy.

They were all saying the same: "that's life"

You work in a job you dislike to spend your money on weekends,

To afford some holidays you've been waiting for all year,

To enjoy your retirement later.

No.

It was not life.

At least, it wasn't the life I wanted.

I started yoga for physical reasons, to feel better in my skin.

Yes, yoga has helped me.
But the changes went beyond.

Yoga allowed me to gain self-confidence
To believe that anything was possible
To become actress of my life,
To live the present moment and stop waiting for a better future,

To leave the corporate world

To dare to take risks,

To no longer be afraid of change and uncertainty

and to live unforgettable adventures

and a life without regret.

This is my experience of yoga and how I love to teach it.

So yes, I will help you feel fitter, sleep better, regain vitality and health.

But other things may arise on the way !
